Pottery
Clay and I were high school sweethearts. My artistic practice has flowed into other mediums—design and glass—but it will always come back to the wheel for me. There are endless insights and lessons to be gleaned as the studio hours melt away. In my opinion, any time spent striving to make a better pot is time well spent.
Jewelry
Gold and porcelain became my favorite studio partners. While my hands have always found home at the wheel, jewelry-making offered a new intimacy—each piece a wearable sculpture that carries intention from my fingertips to someone's skin. The delicate process of layering 22k gold luster, watching colors bloom across porcelain surfaces, and creating bold patterns has become its own meditative practice.
2D
My 2D work is a space for experimentation, ideation, and visual storytelling—values I bring into every learning experience I design. These pieces often evolve into digital or 3D interpretations, echoing the layered, process-driven way I approach teaching and making.
